After leaving the White House, Charles and Camilla visited Arlington National Cemetery to pay their respects to war heroes before heading to Virginia for further engagements. The King’s US visit, which included stops in Washington DC, New York, and Virginia, has come to an end as he prepares for a short visit to Bermuda.
The King, accompanied by Ambassador Monica Crowley, departed the United States for Bermuda, while Queen Camilla returned to the UK. Trump also announced the removal of tariffs on UK whisky in honor of the King’s visit, signaling a positive outcome from the royal visit amidst diplomatic tensions between the UK and the US.
