“Trump’s Bruised Hand Sparks Concerns During Royal Visit”

Published:

President Donald Trump’s hand appeared bruised and discolored when he welcomed King Charles and Queen Camilla at the beginning of their four-day state visit to Washington. Images of Trump’s left hand have circulated online over the past year, sparking concerns about his health.

During the meeting with King Charles and Queen Camilla, makeup seemed to cover the discoloration on Trump’s hand. Journalist Aaron Rupar highlighted the noticeable discoloration on Trump’s left hand, which had been a recurring issue alongside visible bruising on his hands since his return to the White House last year.

Social media users commented on the situation, with one suggesting that Trump should forego the makeup, while another speculated that he undergoes regular medical treatments requiring IVs in his hand. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt previously attributed Trump’s bruised hands to his extensive handshaking activities, stating that his hands show signs of wear due to constant interaction with people.

The President was photographed alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla as they arrived in the US, receiving flowers from children of British military families and participating in national anthem ceremonies. The royal couple’s itinerary includes a garden party, a state dinner at the White House, a visit with families of 9/11 victims in New York, and a trip to a national park in Virginia.

King Charles is scheduled to address Congress during the visit, becoming only the second British monarch to do so after his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
