Sky subscribers are in for a TV change this week as the company consolidates channels. Sky Cinema Animation (channel 312) will merge with Sky Cinema Family on April 30, creating a single family-friendly film destination on channel 304. Viewers can look forward to finding popular titles like the Shrek series, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in one place.
Although the merger reduces the number of channels, all content previously available on Sky Cinema Animation will still be accessible through Sky Cinema Family. Additionally, Sky announced that Sky Cinema Animation will make temporary comebacks during school holidays, available from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5.
In other news, Sky has ventured into the home security market by introducing new smart devices.
