The latest data from property platform Rightmove has unveiled the priciest streets in the UK, with all but one located in London. Topping the list is Winnington Road in Barnet, London, boasting an average asking price of £12,538,095. Following closely is Chester Square in Westminster, London, with an average price of £11,546,428, and The Bishops Avenue in Barnet, London, taking the third spot at £8,930,650.
Breaking the London dominance, East Road in Elmbridge, Surrey, emerges as the costliest street outside the capital, commanding an average price tag of £8,795,714. In Scotland, Drumsheugh Gardens in Edinburgh leads the pack with an average price of £560,000, while in Wales, Hollybush Road in Cardiff tops the charts at £1,237,500.
Based on data from Rightmove, the analysis includes streets where at least five properties were available for sale in January. Colleen Babcock, a property expert at Rightmove, commented on the findings, noting the continued allure of London’s ultra-premium real estate. Despite London’s dominance, Elmbridge in Surrey stands out as the sole non-London area to make the top 20 list, offering prestigious options beyond the city’s hustle and bustle.
