“Apple Unveils Creative Studio Subscription for Mac and iPad Users”

Published:

Apple has unveiled a new software update designed to enhance creativity for a broader audience. The tech giant from the US is introducing Creative Studio, a platform that will give MacBook and iPad users access to premium software at a more affordable monthly rate.

This service includes full access to professional applications like Final Cut Pro for video editing, Logic Pro for music creation, and Pixelmator Pro as an alternative to Adobe’s Photoshop.

Upon its launch later this month, Apple users can subscribe for £12.99 per month or £129 per year, offering great value considering the range of software included in the package.

Individual purchases of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro on the App Store cost £300 and £200, respectively.

By offering these applications on a subscription basis, Apple aims to make them more accessible to a wider audience.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, stated, “Apple Creator Studio is a valuable resource that empowers creators of all kinds to develop their skills by providing easy access to powerful tools for video editing, music production, creative imaging, and visual productivity, enhanced with advanced intelligent features to streamline workflows.”

In addition to the core software, Creative Studio subscribers will receive extras like MainStage, which transforms the Mac into a versatile instrument and effects processor, and Motion, a robust graphics tool enabling the creation of cinematic 2D and 3D effects with smart features like Magnetic Mask for precise object isolation and tracking.

Subscribers will also benefit from enhanced features and premium content in Apple’s Keynote, Pages, and Numbers apps, with a forthcoming boost for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users.

While Keynote, Pages, and Numbers remain free for all users, they will see improvements for Creative Studio subscribers.

Cue added, “There has never been a more flexible and accessible way to access a powerful suite of creative apps for professionals, aspiring artists, entrepreneurs, students, and educators to unleash their creativity from start to finish.”

Apple Creator Studio will be accessible on the App Store starting Wednesday, January 28, with a one-month free trial for all users and a three-month trial for those purchasing a MacBook or iPad.

Moreover, Apple has introduced discounted rates for university students, offering the software bundle at just £2.99 per month or £29.99 per year.
