Anusuya Datta, a writer and journalist residing in Saskatoon, shared a personal experience about decorating her home with holiday lights despite the absence of snow in early December. Upon entering the house for the first time during their house hunt, Anusuya, her husband, and teenager were captivated by the abundant natural light streaming in through numerous windows, creating a warm and inviting ambiance throughout the rooms, including the basement. Through the process of making the house their own, filling it with souvenirs, laughter, and love, the family is transitioning from a mere dwelling to a true home, reflecting their identity and values.
