During an event, Rayner humorously referenced Andy Burnham’s recent visit to her Ashton-under-Lyne residence, diverting attention to more significant issues beyond Burnham’s attire. She also highlighted key Labour initiatives such as the Renters’ Reform Act and the Employment Rights Act, aimed at enhancing workers’ rights and improving societal well-being.
Rayner called for further progress in creating secure, well-compensated jobs, enhancing affordability, and fostering community development as the necessary elements for sustainable economic growth.
