Officers and a police helicopter conducted an extensive search in a major UK city tonight for a nine-year-old child who was reported missing earlier in the evening. The emergency services responded promptly to the situation, with Plymouth Police initiating the search for the missing child. Multiple police cars and a helicopter were deployed to the Barne Barton area of the city around 7pm.
Authorities were observed searching the Tamar View community complex and Estuary Way, where the helicopter was also in operation. An update from a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson informed that the child had wandered off but was found safe and sound within an hour.
